Te Wharemarie Tamariki - The Children’s House of Peace

Sadly we closed our doors in April 2024

Te Wharemarie Tamariki was a not-for-profit centre, located within the Wellington City Council premises in Civic Square.

We sadly closed our doors in April 2024 after 15+ years of nurturing, learning, and growing.

Thank you to all the tamariki, kaiako, and whānau that made our community and centre so special.

Te Wharemarie Tamariki truly was a children’s house of peace.
